Arachne is a 2nd Generation America IS. It was currently possessed by Phantom Task and piloted by Autumn.

Characteristic

The Arachne has a spider-like form with eight armored and armed mechanical legs that increase its capabilities in close-quarters combat. Furthermore, the pilot's own arms are left to perform attacks even when the IS' legs are grappling with something. The machine was originally created by the Americans, but after Phantom Task stole the unit, they heavily modified and upgraded it.

1st Shift/Armaments & Abilities

Due to it having the form of a spider, Arachne has several different weapons on it.

• Bladed Legs : Arachne has 4 bladed legs for offensive and defensive purposes.
• Woof/Warp : a cannon hidden in Arachne's abdomen.
• Norinco carbine machine gun: a machine gun in Arachne's armament that is capable of depleting the enemy's shield energy.
• Loom Shuttle: a katar in Arachne's arm.
• Energy Net : an energy net from Arachne's hand used to bind and capture enemies.
• Railgun : A high-powered railgun attached to Arachne's right hand.
