Kuresakura (lit. "Crimson Sakura") was the second IS piloted by Chifuyu Orimura.

Characteristic

Kuresakura is designed to be a pure offence IS. Despite having only one weapon, which also had a high energy demand, Chifuyu was able to win the first Mondo Grosso with it. It is currently unusable because of the damage Houki Shinonono inflicted on it with her Akatsuki. This forced Chifuyu to retire and hide Kuresakura within the IS Academy.

• Yukihira: A blade designed for CQC and the sole weapon of Kuresakura.

History

Chifuyu used Kuresakura to win the tournament Mondo Grosso for the first time. However, she forfeited in order to save her brother Ichika who was kidnapped, leaving Alicia Jiosestaf the winner.
